Who Is Responsible for the Declining Quality of Engineering Colleges? The declining quality of engineering colleges in India cannot be attributed to a single institution or stakeholder. College management, regulatory bodies, universities, faculty, industries, parents, and students all influence the overall quality of engineering education. Rather than assigning blame, the focus should shift toward building an education system that emphasizes practical skills, innovation, research, collaboration, and lifelong learning. India has one of the world's largest pools of engineering talent. With continuous improvement and shared responsibility, engineering institutions can once again become global centers of excellence and produce graduates prepared for the challenges of the future.
